How to Send Fluent Affiliate Data to Eventin
Eventin is a event management platform. Fluent Affiliate tracks an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Eventin.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting your affiliate program to event management, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Fluent Affiliate installed and configured.
- A Eventin account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Eventin to AFI
Eventin uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Eventin, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Affiliate to Eventin.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Fluent Affiliate as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.
3. Select Eventin as the destination
Choose Eventin from the platform dropdown and pick Add Attendee. This registers an attendee in Eventin.
4. Map fields
Match each Eventin field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Affiliate field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Fluent Affiliate. Check Eventin to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and event to Eventin with unlimited referrals. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-referral fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which Fluent Affiliate events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated. This covers new affiliate registrations, referral creations, and commission status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the affiliate event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send affiliate data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every event flows to all of them simultaneously.
