How to Send Fluent Affiliate Data to Employment Hero

Employment Hero is a HR platform. Fluent Affiliate tracks an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Employment Hero.

Connect Employment Hero to AFI

Employment Hero uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Employment Hero, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Affiliate to Employment Hero.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Fluent Affiliate as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.

3. Select Employment Hero as the destination

Choose Employment Hero from the platform dropdown and pick Add Employee. This creates an employee in Employment Hero.

4. Map fields

Match each Employment Hero field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Affiliate field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Fluent Affiliate. Check Employment Hero to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
