How to Send Fluent Affiliate Data to dotdigital

dotdigital is a marketing automation platform. Fluent Affiliate runs your affiliate program on WordPress. dotdigital is where your affiliate data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Fluent Affiliate installed and configured.

Connect dotdigital to AFI

1. Log in to your dotdigital account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API User and Password.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → dotdigital.
4. Enter the credentials and region, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Affiliate to dotdigital.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Fluent Affiliate as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a referral is generated, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.

3. Select dotdigital as the destination

Choose dotdigital from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to dotdigital.

4. Map fields

Match each dotdigital field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Affiliate field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in Fluent Affiliate. Check dotdigital to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
