How to Send SliceWP Data to Crisp
Crisp is a live chat platform. Referral events can trigger instant notifications. If you want SliceWP an affiliate registers or a commission is recorded synced to Crisp, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting your affiliate program to live chat, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with SliceWP installed and configured.
- A Crisp account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Crisp to AFI
Crisp uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Crisp, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it SliceWP to Crisp.
2. Pick your trigger
Select SliceWP as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a commission is recorded, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.
3. Select Crisp as the destination
Choose Crisp from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Crisp.
4. Map fields
Match each Crisp field on the left to the corresponding SliceWP field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in SliceWP. Check Crisp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Crisp with unlimited referrals. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-referral fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which SliceWP events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a commission is recorded. This covers new affiliate registrations, referral creations, and commission status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the affiliate event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send affiliate data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every event flows to all of them simultaneously.
