How to Send SliceWP Data to Apollo.io
Apollo.io is a sales intelligence platform. SliceWP runs your affiliate program on WordPress. Apollo.io is where your affiliate data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-referral fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with SliceWP installed and configured.
- A Apollo.io account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Apollo.io to AFI
- Log in to your Apollo.io account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Apollo.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it SliceWP to Apollo.io.
2. Pick your trigger
Select SliceWP as the form provider. AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a commission is recorded, giving you access to affiliate details, referral amounts, and commission data.
3. Select Apollo.io as the destination
Choose Apollo.io from the platform dropdown and pick Create Contact. This creates a contact in Apollo.
4. Map fields
Match each Apollo.io field on the left to the corresponding SliceWP field on the right. Common mappings include affiliate name, email, referral ID, commission amount, and status. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain referrals? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test event in SliceWP. Check Apollo.io to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email, first name, and last name to Apollo.io with unlimited referrals. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-referral fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which SliceWP events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an affiliate registers or a commission is recorded. This covers new affiliate registrations, referral creations, and commission status changes.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the affiliate event completes. Your site performance is not affected.
Can I send affiliate data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every event flows to all of them simultaneously.
