How to Send PeepSo Data to WhatsApp

WhatsApp is a messaging platform. Member events can trigger instant notifications. Every PeepSo a member registers, posts an activity, or joins a group should flow into WhatsApp automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with PeepSo installed and configured.

Connect WhatsApp to AFI

WhatsApp uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → WhatsApp, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it PeepSo to WhatsApp.

2. Pick your trigger

Select PeepSo as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, posts an activity, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select WhatsApp as the destination

Choose WhatsApp from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a WhatsApp message via the Business API.

4. Map fields

Match each WhatsApp field on the left to the corresponding PeepSo field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, posts an activity, or joins a group in PeepSo. Check WhatsApp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
