How to Send BuddyPress Data to Campaigner

Campaigner is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. BuddyPress manages a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Campaigner.

What you will need

Connect Campaigner to AFI

1. Log in to your Campaigner account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Campaigner.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyPress to Campaigner.

2. Pick your trigger

Select BuddyPress as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select Campaigner as the destination

Choose Campaigner from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Campaigner.

4. Map fields

Match each Campaigner field on the left to the corresponding BuddyPress field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyPress. Check Campaigner to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
