How to Send BuddyBoss Data to Systeme.io
Systeme.io is a all-in-one marketing platform. BuddyBoss powers your WordPress community. Systeme.io is where member data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting your community platform to all-in-one marketing, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with BuddyBoss installed and configured.
- A Systeme.io account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Systeme.io to AFI
- Log in to your Systeme.io account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Systeme.io.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyBoss to Systeme.io.
2. Pick your trigger
Select BuddyBoss as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.
3. Select Systeme.io as the destination
Choose Systeme.io from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Systeme.io.
4. Map fields
Match each Systeme.io field on the left to the corresponding BuddyBoss field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyBoss. Check Systeme.io to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Systeme.io with unlimited events. Pro adds custom field mapping and tag assignment. No per-event fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which BuddyBoss events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group. This covers member registrations, profile updates, and group joins.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the community event completes. Your members are not affected.
Can I send member data to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every event flows to all of them simultaneously.
