How to Send BuddyBoss Data to Sierra Interactive

What you will need

Connect Sierra Interactive to AFI

1. Log in to your Sierra Interactive account.
2. Copy your API Key from settings.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Sierra Interactive.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyBoss to Sierra Interactive.

2. Pick your trigger

Select BuddyBoss as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select Sierra Interactive as the destination

Choose Sierra Interactive from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Sierra Interactive.

4. Map fields

Match each Sierra Interactive field on the left to the corresponding BuddyBoss field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyBoss. Check Sierra Interactive to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
