Lexoffice is an accounting platform for managing finances. BuddyBoss powers your WordPress community. Lexoffice is where member data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting your community platform to accounting, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with BuddyBoss installed and configured.
  • A Lexoffice account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Lexoffice to AFI

Lexoffice uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Lexoffice, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyBoss to Lexoffice.

2. Pick your trigger

Select BuddyBoss as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select Lexoffice as the destination

Choose Lexoffice from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Lexoffice.

4. Map fields

Match each Lexoffice field on the left to the corresponding BuddyBoss field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyBoss. Check Lexoffice to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name and email to Lexoffice with unlimited events. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-event fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which BuddyBoss events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group. This covers member registrations, profile updates, and group joins.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the community event completes. Your members are not affected.

Can I send member data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every event flows to all of them simultaneously.
