Airmeet is a virtual events platform. BuddyBoss manages a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, but sending that data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Airmeet.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting your community platform to virtual events, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with BuddyBoss installed and configured.
  • A Airmeet account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Airmeet to AFI

  1. Log in to your Airmeet account.
  2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Airmeet.
  4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it BuddyBoss to Airmeet.

2. Pick your trigger

Select BuddyBoss as the form provider. AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group, giving you access to member details, profile fields, and activity data.

3. Select Airmeet as the destination

Choose Airmeet from the platform dropdown and pick Register Attendee. This registers an attendee for an Airmeet event.

4. Map fields

Match each Airmeet field on the left to the corresponding BuddyBoss field on the right. Common mappings include member name, email, profile data, and activity type. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain activities? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Trigger a test a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group in BuddyBoss. Check Airmeet to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email, first name, and last name to Airmeet with unlimited events. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-event fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which BuddyBoss events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a member registers, updates their profile, or joins a group. This covers member registrations, profile updates, and group joins.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the community event completes. Your members are not affected.

Can I send member data to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every event flows to all of them simultaneously.
