MailUp is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Every TutorLMS enrollment should flow into MailUp automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

AFI delivers enrollment and course data straight from WordPress to MailUp. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with TutorLMS installed and at least one course.
  • A MailUp account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect MailUp to AFI

MailUp uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → MailUp, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it TutorLMS to MailUp.

2. Pick your trigger

Select TutorLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a quiz, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select MailUp as the destination

Choose MailUp from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to MailUp.

4. Map fields

Match each MailUp field on the left to the corresponding TutorLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in TutorLMS. Check MailUp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email and name to MailUp with unlimited enrollments. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-enrollment fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which TutorLMS events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a quiz. This covers new enrollments, course completions, and student registrations.

Will adding this slow down my site?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the enrollment event completes. Your students are not affected.

Can I send enrollments to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every enrollment flows to all of them simultaneously.
