How to Send LifterLMS Enrollments to Nutshell

Nutshell is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Here is how to pipe LifterLMS data straight into Nutshell using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

What you will need

Connect Nutshell to AFI

1. Get your Nutshell API credentials.
2. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Nutshell.
3. Enter your email and API Key.
4. Click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to Nutshell.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Nutshell as the destination

Choose Nutshell from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Nutshell.

4. Map fields

Match each Nutshell field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check Nutshell to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
