How to Send LifterLMS Enrollments to Cal.com
Cal.com is a appointment scheduling platform. If you want LifterLMS data in Cal.com, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-enrollment fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with LifterLMS installed and at least one course.
- A Cal.com account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Cal.com to AFI
- Log in to your Cal.com account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Cal.com.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LifterLMS to Cal.com.
2. Pick your trigger
Select LifterLMS as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.
3. Select Cal.com as the destination
Choose Cal.com from the platform dropdown and pick Book Event. This creates a booking in Cal.com.
4. Map fields
Match each Cal.com field on the left to the corresponding LifterLMS field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LifterLMS. Check Cal.com to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and date to Cal.com with unlimited enrollments. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-enrollment fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which LifterLMS events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or purchases a membership. This covers new enrollments, course completions, and student registrations.
Will adding this slow down my site?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the enrollment event completes. Your students are not affected.
Can I send enrollments to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every enrollment flows to all of them simultaneously.
