How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Todoist

Todoist is a task management platform. If you want LearnDash data in Todoist, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LearnDash installed and at least one course.
• A Todoist account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Todoist to AFI

Todoist uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Todoist, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Todoist.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Todoist as the destination

Choose Todoist from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Todoist.

4. Map fields

Match each Todoist field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Todoist to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
