How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Smartlead

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LearnDash installed and at least one course.

Connect Smartlead to AFI

1. Log in to your Smartlead account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Smartlead.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Smartlead.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Smartlead as the destination

Choose Smartlead from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This adds a lead to a Smartlead campaign.

4. Map fields

Match each Smartlead field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Smartlead to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
