How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Shape Software

Shape Software is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Every LearnDash enrollment should flow into Shape Software automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

What you will need

Connect Shape Software to AFI

1. Log in to your Shape Software account.
2. Copy your API Key from settings.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Shape Software.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Shape Software.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Shape Software as the destination

Choose Shape Software from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Shape Software.

4. Map fields

Match each Shape Software field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Shape Software to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
