How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Sendy

Sendy is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Here is how to pipe LearnDash data straight into Sendy using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LearnDash installed and at least one course.

Connect Sendy to AFI

1. Log in to your Sendy installation.
2. Copy your API Key from the settings.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Sendy.
4. Enter your Sendy URL and API Key, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Sendy.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Sendy as the destination

Choose Sendy from the platform dropdown and pick Subscribe To List. This subscribes a contact to a Sendy list.

4. Map fields

Match each Sendy field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Sendy to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
