How to Send LearnDash Enrollments to Dynamics 365 Customer Service

Dynamics 365 Customer Service is a helpdesk platform. LearnDash handles a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson on your WordPress site. Dynamics 365 Customer Service is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with LearnDash installed and at least one course.

Connect Dynamics 365 Customer Service to AFI

Dynamics 365 Customer Service uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Dynamics 365 Customer Service, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it LearnDash to Dynamics 365 Customer Service.

2. Pick your trigger

Select LearnDash as the form provider. AFI fires when a student enrolls in a course or completes a lesson, giving you access to student details, course information, and enrollment data.

3. Select Dynamics 365 Customer Service as the destination

Choose Dynamics 365 Customer Service from the platform dropdown and pick Create Case. This creates a case in Dynamics 365 Customer Service.

4. Map fields

Match each Dynamics 365 Customer Service field on the left to the corresponding LearnDash field on the right. Common mappings include student name, email, course title, and enrollment date. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain enrollments? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Complete a test enrollment in LearnDash. Check Dynamics 365 Customer Service to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
