The Events Calendar is a event management platform. Every CartFlows order should flow into The Events Calendar automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to The Events Calendar. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with CartFlows installed and configured.
  • A The Events Calendar account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect The Events Calendar to AFI

The Events Calendar uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → The Events Calendar, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it CartFlows to The Events Calendar.

2. Pick your trigger

Select CartFlows as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select The Events Calendar as the destination

Choose The Events Calendar from the platform dropdown and pick Add Event. This creates an event in The Events Calendar.

4. Map fields

Match each The Events Calendar field on the left to the corresponding CartFlows field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order through your CartFlows funnel. Check The Events Calendar to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps title, date, and description to The Events Calendar with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-order fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which CartFlows events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.

Will adding this slow down my checkout?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.

Can I send orders to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
