SharpSpring is a marketing automation platform. Getting CartFlows order data into SharpSpring does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.

The direct approach

AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to SharpSpring. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with CartFlows installed and configured.
  • A SharpSpring account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect SharpSpring to AFI

  1. Log in to your SharpSpring account.
  2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key and Secret.
  3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → SharpSpring.
  4. Enter the API Key and Secret, then click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it CartFlows to SharpSpring.

2. Pick your trigger

Select CartFlows as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select SharpSpring as the destination

Choose SharpSpring from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates or updates a lead in SharpSpring.

4. Map fields

Match each SharpSpring field on the left to the corresponding CartFlows field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order through your CartFlows funnel. Check SharpSpring to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps email, first name, and last name to SharpSpring with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping and campaign assignment. No per-order fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which CartFlows events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when an order is completed through a flow. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.

Will adding this slow down my checkout?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.

Can I send orders to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
