How to Send FluentCart Orders to Telegram
Telegram is a messaging platform. Order events can trigger instant notifications. Here is how to pipe FluentCart order data straight into Telegram using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.
The direct approach
AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to Telegram. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FluentCart installed and configured.
- A Telegram account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Telegram to AFI
- Create a Telegram Bot via BotFather and copy the bot token.
- Start a chat with your bot and get the chat ID.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Telegram.
- Enter the bot token and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to Telegram.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select Telegram as the destination
Choose Telegram from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a message to a Telegram chat via bot.
4. Map fields
Match each Telegram field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check Telegram to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps message text to Telegram with unlimited orders. Pro adds chat ID and parse mode. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which FluentCart events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an order is placed. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
