How to Send FluentCart Orders to Cal.com
Cal.com is a appointment scheduling platform. If you want FluentCart orders synced to Cal.com, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.
Why connect directly?
Cloud automation tools like Zapier charge per task and route your data through external servers. AFI processes everything on your WordPress site. No per-order fees, no external dependencies.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FluentCart installed and configured.
- A Cal.com account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Cal.com to AFI
- Log in to your Cal.com account.
- Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Cal.com.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FluentCart to Cal.com.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FluentCart as the form provider. AFI fires when an order is placed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.
3. Select Cal.com as the destination
Choose Cal.com from the platform dropdown and pick Book Event. This creates a booking in Cal.com.
4. Map fields
Match each Cal.com field on the left to the corresponding FluentCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your FluentCart store. Check Cal.com to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and date to Cal.com with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which FluentCart events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an order is placed. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
