WhatsApp is a messaging platform. Order events can trigger instant notifications. Every SureCart order should flow into WhatsApp automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to WhatsApp. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with SureCart installed and configured.
  • A WhatsApp account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect WhatsApp to AFI

WhatsApp uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → WhatsApp, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it SureCart to WhatsApp.

2. Pick your trigger

Select SureCart as the form provider. AFI fires when a checkout or order is completed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select WhatsApp as the destination

Choose WhatsApp from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a WhatsApp message via the Business API.

4. Map fields

Match each WhatsApp field on the left to the corresponding SureCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your SureCart store. Check WhatsApp to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps phone number and message text to WhatsApp with unlimited orders. Pro adds template message selection. No per-order fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions

Which SureCart events trigger the integration?

AFI fires when a checkout or order is completed. This covers new orders, customer details, and product information.

Will adding this slow down my checkout?

No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.

Can I send orders to multiple platforms?

Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
