How to Send SureCart Orders to Teamwork

Teamwork is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. Every SureCart order should flow into Teamwork automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

Skip the automation middleman

Rather than routing order data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to project management. No task meter, no monthly bill.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with SureCart installed and configured.
• A Teamwork account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Teamwork to AFI

Teamwork uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Teamwork, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it SureCart to Teamwork.

2. Pick your trigger

Select SureCart as the form provider. AFI fires when a checkout or order is completed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select Teamwork as the destination

Choose Teamwork from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Teamwork.

4. Map fields

Match each Teamwork field on the left to the corresponding SureCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your SureCart store. Check Teamwork to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
