How to Send SureCart Orders to Ontraport

Ontraport is a marketing automation platform. If you want SureCart orders synced to Ontraport, you could pay for a cloud automation service. Or you could do it directly from WordPress. This is the direct route.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with SureCart installed and configured.
• A Ontraport account.

Connect Ontraport to AFI

1. Log in to your Ontraport account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your App ID and API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Ontraport.
4. Enter the credentials and click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it SureCart to Ontraport.

2. Pick your trigger

Select SureCart as the form provider. AFI fires when a checkout or order is completed, giving you access to customer details, product information, and order totals.

3. Select Ontraport as the destination

Choose Ontraport from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates or updates a contact in Ontraport.

4. Map fields

Match each Ontraport field on the left to the corresponding SureCart field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule based on any field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your SureCart store. Check Ontraport to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
