How to Send Easy Digital Downloads Orders to Insightly

Connect Insightly to AFI

1. Log in to your Insightly account.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Easy Digital Downloads to Insightly.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Easy Digital Downloads as the form provider. AFI fires when a purchase is completed, giving you access to customer details, product information, payment data, and download links.

3. Select Insightly as the destination

Choose Insightly from the platform dropdown and pick Create Contact. This creates a contact in Insightly.

4. Map fields

Match each Insightly field on the left to the corresponding Easy Digital Downloads field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, product details, and order total. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain purchases? Set up a conditional rule. For example, only sync completed payments or specific products.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test purchase in your Easy Digital Downloads store. Check Insightly to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
