How to Send Happy Forms Submissions to Zoho Invoice

Zoho Invoice is a invoicing platform. Happy Forms lets you create powerful forms, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Zoho Invoice.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Happy Forms installed and at least one form.
• A Zoho Invoice account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Zoho Invoice to AFI

Zoho Invoice uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho Invoice, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Happy Forms to Zoho Invoice.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Happy Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Zoho Invoice as the destination

Choose Zoho Invoice from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Zoho Invoice.

4. Map fields

Match each Zoho Invoice field on the left to the corresponding Happy Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Happy Forms form and submit. Check Zoho Invoice to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
