How to Send Happy Forms Submissions to Teamwork

Teamwork is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. Getting Happy Forms submissions into Teamwork does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.

Connect Teamwork to AFI

Teamwork uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Teamwork, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Happy Forms to Teamwork.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Happy Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Teamwork as the destination

Choose Teamwork from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Teamwork.

4. Map fields

Match each Teamwork field on the left to the corresponding Happy Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Happy Forms form and submit. Check Teamwork to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
