How to Send Happy Forms Submissions to Maropost

Maropost is a marketing automation platform. Happy Forms lets you create powerful forms, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Maropost.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Happy Forms installed and at least one form.
• A Maropost account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Maropost to AFI

1. Log in to your Maropost account.
2. Copy your Account ID and API Token.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Maropost.
4. Enter the credentials and click Save.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Happy Forms to Maropost.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Happy Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Maropost as the destination

Choose Maropost from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Maropost.

4. Map fields

Match each Maropost field on the left to the corresponding Happy Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Happy Forms form and submit. Check Maropost to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
