How to Send Happy Forms Submissions to Google Tasks

Google Tasks is a task management platform. Here is how to pipe Happy Forms submissions straight into Google Tasks using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.

Connect Google Tasks to AFI

Google Tasks uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Google Tasks, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Happy Forms to Google Tasks.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Happy Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Google Tasks as the destination

Choose Google Tasks from the platform dropdown and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Google Tasks.

4. Map fields

Match each Google Tasks field on the left to the corresponding Happy Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Happy Forms form and submit. Check Google Tasks to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
