How to Send Everest Forms Submissions to OpenPhone

OpenPhone is a phone system platform. Everest Forms makes it easy to build WordPress forms. Everest Forms is where that data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Why not just use Zapier?

For connecting your forms to phone system, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Everest Forms installed and at least one form.
• A OpenPhone account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect OpenPhone to AFI

1. Log in to your OpenPhone account.
2. Copy your API Key from settings.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → OpenPhone.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Everest Forms to OpenPhone.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Everest Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select OpenPhone as the destination

Choose OpenPhone from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in OpenPhone.

4. Map fields

Match each OpenPhone field on the left to the corresponding Everest Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Everest Forms form and submit. Check OpenPhone to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
