How to Send WooCommerce Orders to Vertical Response

Vertical Response is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. WooCommerce powers millions of online stores. Vertical Response is where your customer and order data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.

Connect Vertical Response to AFI

1. Log in to your Vertical Response account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Vertical Response.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WooCommerce to Vertical Response.

2. Pick your trigger

Select WooCommerce as the form provider. AFI fires when an order status changes, giving you access to customer details, billing and shipping addresses, line items, totals, and payment method.

3. Select Vertical Response as the destination

Choose Vertical Response from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to a Vertical Response list.

4. Map fields

Match each Vertical Response field on the left to the corresponding WooCommerce order field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, billing address, order total, and product details. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule. For example, only sync orders above a specific total, or only completed orders.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your WooCommerce store. Check Vertical Response to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
