How to Send WooCommerce Orders to Telegram

Connect Telegram to AFI

1. Create a Telegram Bot via BotFather and copy the bot token.
2. Start a chat with your bot and get the chat ID.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Telegram.
4. Enter the bot token and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WooCommerce to Telegram.

2. Pick your trigger

Select WooCommerce as the form provider. AFI fires when an order status changes, giving you access to customer details, billing and shipping addresses, line items, totals, and payment method.

3. Select Telegram as the destination

Choose Telegram from the platform dropdown and pick Send Message. This sends a message to a Telegram chat via bot.

4. Map fields

Match each Telegram field on the left to the corresponding WooCommerce order field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, billing address, order total, and product details. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule. For example, only sync orders above a specific total, or only completed orders.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your WooCommerce store. Check Telegram to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
