How to Send WooCommerce Orders to Sender

Sender is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Every WooCommerce order should flow into Sender automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

Connect Sender to AFI

1. Log in to your Sender account.
2. Copy your API Key from settings.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Sender.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WooCommerce to Sender.

2. Pick your trigger

Select WooCommerce as the form provider. AFI fires when an order status changes, giving you access to customer details, billing and shipping addresses, line items, totals, and payment method.

3. Select Sender as the destination

Choose Sender from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to Sender.

4. Map fields

Match each Sender field on the left to the corresponding WooCommerce order field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, billing address, order total, and product details. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule. For example, only sync orders above a specific total, or only completed orders.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your WooCommerce store. Check Sender to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
