How to Send WooCommerce Orders to Maileon
Maileon is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Every WooCommerce order should flow into Maileon automatically. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
The direct approach
AFI delivers order data straight from WordPress to Maileon. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with WooCommerce installed and configured.
- A Maileon account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Maileon to AFI
- Log in to your Maileon account.
- Copy your API Key from settings.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Maileon.
- Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it WooCommerce to Maileon.
2. Pick your trigger
Select WooCommerce as the form provider. AFI fires when an order status changes, giving you access to customer details, billing and shipping addresses, line items, totals, and payment method.
3. Select Maileon as the destination
Choose Maileon from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This adds a contact to Maileon.
4. Map fields
Match each Maileon field on the left to the corresponding WooCommerce order field on the right. Common mappings include customer name, email, phone, billing address, order total, and product details. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain orders? Set up a conditional rule. For example, only sync orders above a specific total, or only completed orders.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Place a test order in your WooCommerce store. Check Maileon to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps email and name to Maileon with unlimited orders. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-order fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Which WooCommerce events trigger the integration?
AFI fires when an order status changes (for example, pending to processing, or processing to completed). This covers new orders, successful payments, refunds, and cancellations.
Will adding this slow down my checkout?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the order is processed. Your customers complete checkout normally without any delay.
Can I send orders to multiple platforms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each destination, and every order flows to all of them simultaneously.
