How to Send Fluent Forms Submissions to Zoho Books

Zoho Books is an accounting platform for managing finances. Every Fluent Forms submission should flow into Zoho Books without manual effort. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Fluent Forms installed and at least one form.

Connect Zoho Books to AFI

Zoho Books uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Zoho Books, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Forms to Zoho Books.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Fluent Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Zoho Books as the destination

Choose Zoho Books from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Zoho Books.

4. Map fields

Match each Zoho Books field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Fluent form and submit. Check Zoho Books to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
