How to Send Fluent Forms Submissions to Dynamics 365 Field Service
Dynamics 365 Field Service is a field service platform. Every Fluent Forms submission should flow into Dynamics 365 Field Service without manual effort. This guide shows how to set that up in five minutes.
Skip the automation middleman
Rather than routing data through a third-party cloud, AFI sends it directly from your WordPress server to Dynamics 365 Field Service. No task meter, no monthly bill.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Fluent Forms installed and at least one form.
- A Dynamics 365 Field Service account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Dynamics 365 Field Service to AFI
Dynamics 365 Field Service uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Dynamics 365 Field Service, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Forms to Dynamics 365 Field Service.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Fluent Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.
3. Select Dynamics 365 Field Service as the destination
Choose Dynamics 365 Field Service from the platform dropdown and pick Create Work Order. This creates a work order in Dynamics 365 Field Service.
4. Map fields
Match each Dynamics 365 Field Service field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Fill out your Fluent form and submit. Check Dynamics 365 Field Service to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Dynamics 365 Field Service with unlimited submissions. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-submission fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need coding skills?
No. Everything is configured through a visual interface, including field mapping.
Will adding this slow down my form?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the form submission completes. Your visitors see the normal confirmation message without any delay.
Can I connect multiple Fluent Forms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each form, or send one form to multiple platforms.
