How to Send Fluent Forms Submissions to Acumbamail

Acumbamail is a email marketing platform for managing subscribers and campaigns. Fluent Forms lets you build forms with conditional logic and multi-step layouts, but sending data to external platforms needs an integration. AFI bridges that gap to Acumbamail.

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Fluent Forms installed and at least one form.

Connect Acumbamail to AFI

1. Log in to your Acumbamail account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Acumbamail.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Fluent Forms to Acumbamail.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Fluent Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Acumbamail as the destination

Choose Acumbamail from the platform dropdown and pick Add Subscriber. This adds a subscriber to an Acumbamail list.

4. Map fields

Match each Acumbamail field on the left to the corresponding Fluent Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Fluent form and submit. Check Acumbamail to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
