How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Planhat

Planhat is a customer success platform. Getting FormCraft data into Planhat does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.

The direct approach

What you will need

• A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
• A Planhat account.
• The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Planhat to AFI

1. Log in to your Planhat account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Token.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Planhat.
4. Paste the API Token and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Planhat.

2. Pick your trigger

Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Planhat as the destination

Choose Planhat from the platform dropdown and pick Add Contact. This creates a contact in Planhat.

4. Map fields

Match each Planhat field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Planhat to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
