How to Send FormCraft Submissions to Nutshell
Nutshell is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Here is how to pipe FormCraft submissions straight into Nutshell using Advanced Form Integration. The setup takes about five minutes and runs entirely on your own server.
The direct approach
AFI delivers form data straight from WordPress to Nutshell. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with FormCraft installed and at least one form.
- A Nutshell account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Nutshell to AFI
- Get your Nutshell API credentials.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Nutshell.
- Enter your email and API Key.
- Click Save Changes.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it FormCraft to Nutshell.
2. Pick your trigger
Select FormCraft as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.
3. Select Nutshell as the destination
Choose Nutshell from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Nutshell.
4. Map fields
Match each Nutshell field on the left to the corresponding FormCraft field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Fill out your FormCraft form and submit. Check Nutshell to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps name, email, and phone to Nutshell with unlimited submissions. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-submission fees on any plan.
