Big Purple Dot is a CRM that helps you manage contacts and track interactions. Getting Ninja Forms data into Big Purple Dot does not require external tools. Advanced Form Integration handles it natively, and this guide covers every step.

The direct approach

AFI delivers form data straight from WordPress to Big Purple Dot. No third-party cloud, no per-task fees, and every request is logged for troubleshooting.

What you will need

  • A WordPress site with Ninja Forms installed and at least one form.
  • A Big Purple Dot account.
  • The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).

Connect Big Purple Dot to AFI

Big Purple Dot uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Big Purple Dot, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Ninja Forms to Big Purple Dot.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Ninja Forms as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Big Purple Dot as the destination

Choose Big Purple Dot from the platform dropdown and pick Add Lead. This creates a lead in Big Purple Dot.

4. Map fields

Match each Big Purple Dot field on the left to the corresponding Ninja Forms field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your Ninja form and submit. Check Big Purple Dot to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.

Free vs Pro

The free version maps name, email, and phone to Big Purple Dot with unlimited submissions. Pro adds custom field mapping. No per-submission fees on any plan.

Frequently asked questions
