How to Send Elementor Pro Forms Submissions to Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 is a analytics platform. Elementor Pro Forms comes with powerful design tools but no built-in CRM or email integration. AFI bridges that gap to Google Analytics 4. Here is the full setup.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting Elementor Pro Forms to analytics, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Elementor Pro installed and at least one Pro Form.
- A Google Analytics 4 account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Google Analytics 4 to AFI
- Get your GA4 Measurement ID and API Secret from your GA4 property.
- In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → GA4.
- Enter the Measurement ID and API Secret.
- Click Save.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it Elementor to Google Analytics 4.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Elementor Pro Form as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.
3. Select Google Analytics 4 as the destination
Choose Google Analytics 4 from the platform dropdown and pick Send Event. This sends an event to Google Analytics 4.
4. Map fields
Match each Google Analytics 4 field on the left to the corresponding Elementor form field on the right. You can also use smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{utm_source}}.
5. Add conditions if needed
Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule based on any form field value.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Fill out your Elementor form and submit. Check Google Analytics 4 to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
Free vs Pro
The free version maps event name and parameters to Google Analytics 4 with unlimited submissions. Pro adds custom parameter mapping. No per-submission fees on any plan.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need coding skills?
No. Everything is configured through a visual interface, including field mapping.
Will adding this slow down my form?
No. AFI sends data to the destination after the form submission completes. Your visitors see the normal success message without any delay.
Can I connect multiple Elementor forms?
Yes. Create a separate integration for each form, or send one form to multiple platforms.
