How to Send Contact Form 7 Submissions to Teamwork
Teamwork is a project management tool for organizing work and collaborating. Contact Form 7 is everywhere on WordPress. Teamwork is where your data needs to go. Here is how to connect them without Zapier or code.
Why not just use Zapier?
For connecting Contact Form 7 to project management, a cloud automation service adds cost and a dependency on an external server. AFI runs on your site with no task limits.
What you will need
- A WordPress site with Contact Form 7 installed and at least one form.
- A Teamwork account.
- The Advanced Form Integration plugin (free from WordPress.org).
Connect Teamwork to AFI
Teamwork uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. In AFI → Settings → Teamwork, click Authorize and grant access. This is a one-time step.
Setting up the integration
1. Create a new integration
Go to AFI → Add New. Name it CF7 to Teamwork.
2. Pick your trigger
Select Contact Form 7 and choose your form. Fields are detected automatically.
3. Select Teamwork as the destination
Choose Teamwork and pick Create Task. This creates a task in Teamwork.
4. Map fields
Match each Teamwork field to the corresponding Contact Form 7 field. Smart tags like {{_submission_date}} are available.
5. Add conditions if needed
Send only specific submissions based on conditional rules.
6. Save and test
Click Save Integration. Submit a test form and verify in Teamwork. Check AFI → Log if needed.
Free vs Pro
