How to Send Contact Form 7 Submissions to Campayn

What you will need

• A WordPress site with Contact Form 7 installed and at least one form.

Connect Campayn to AFI

1. Log in to your Campayn account.
2. Go to Settings → API and copy your API Key.
3. In WordPress, go to AFI → Settings → Campayn.
4. Paste the API Key and click Save Changes.

Setting up the integration

1. Create a new integration

Go to AFI → Add New. Give it a name like CF7 to Campayn.

2. Pick your trigger

Select Contact Form 7 as the form provider and choose the form you want to connect. AFI detects the fields automatically.

3. Select Campayn as the destination

Choose Campayn from the platform dropdown and select Add Contact. This adds a contact to a Campayn list.

4. Map fields

Match each Campayn field on the left to the corresponding Contact Form 7 field on the right. You can also insert static text or dynamic smart tags like {{_submission_date}} and {{user_ip}}.

5. Add conditions if needed

Only want to send certain submissions? Set up a conditional rule. For example, only create a record when a checkbox is checked or when the email field is not empty.

6. Save and test

Click Save Integration. Fill out your form and submit. Check Campayn to confirm the data arrived. If anything looks wrong, open AFI → Log to see the exact request and response.
